Your data stays on your device
All your progress — quiz results, exam history, streak, and state preference — is saved in your browser’s localStorage. It never leaves your device. We have no servers storing your personal data, and you do not need an account to use PassCitizen.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to understand how people use the site:
Vercel Analytics tracks page views and general traffic patterns. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
Google Analytics 4 tracks sessions, pages visited, and approximate geographic location. Google processes this data on our behalf. You can opt out using Google’s browser opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets two cookies on your device: _ga and _ga_*. These help distinguish between users and sessions so we can count visits accurately. They are analytics cookies only — we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
Vercel — hosting and performance analytics (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
Google — usage analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)
Your controls
You can delete all your PassCitizen data at any time from the Settings page. Clearing your browser storage for this site removes everything stored locally.
